Plan story

Bring a premise. The crew plans first — title, world, cast, outline. You approve or edit at each gate, then they draft. They do not skip ahead and dump a finished manuscript on you.

Story graph

Open Story graph from the editor (or the nav). Seed cards from this project’s bible — characters, world, notes, themes — then drag a port on one card to another to name the link (betrays, lives in, foreshadows…).

• The map is a view of the same bible. Character sheets stay in Cast; notes stay in Note cards.
• Click + Add card (pick a type beside it) to place a new card. N does the same.
• Cards stay readable size. Use ◀ ▶, the scrollbar, or drag empty space to move left/right across the map.
• Arrange lines cards up by type in columns. 0 resets the view to the top-left.
• Click a character card to open the sheet. Premise and world are edited in Details after you close the graph.
• Seed is safe to run again — it skips cards that already exist.
• Books do not seed outline beats (those live on short stories).

Cast

Characters you add are used as written. Open Cast in the nav. Save a character to your library to reuse it in other projects.

Note cards

Facts, events, places — research the crew should honor. Open Note cards in the nav and pin cards to the project. YarnPocket is the phone version of this capture.

Keys

Model (Grok, Fable 5, ChatGPT, Custom, Ollama), API keys, and critique passes live under Keys. YarnWeaver does not train on your manuscripts. The provider you pick has its own terms.
